It's Great to be EIGHT!
(click on collages to take a closer look.)

Yep! It happened. My little girl turned eight years old. What a growing year this has been for Katelyn. It's the year that her clothes needed to be hung up on bigger hangers. It's the year she quit wanting to dress in "twin" outfits with her sister. It's the year that her two front big-girl teeth came in. It's the year that she all but abandoned her toys. It's the year that her lightning fast tennis shoes started to gleefully chase and be chased by the cute 8 year old neighbor boy. (Remember your 2nd grade crush? Mine was "Stevie"!) It's the year that she told me that she wants to be just like me (let's not forget to remind her of that when she's a little older.) And, thankfully, not a moment too soon, it's the year that she decided to follow the example of our Savior, Jesus Christ and to begin preparation for baptism!
Katelyn is an EXCEPTIONAL daughter. Most things in life(so far) come easily to her, and because of that, she makes my job as her mom easier. It's so easy to be proud of her. She is a constant source of JOY.
Happy Birthday,Katie-bug! We hope you have a great year being 8! "We love you to the sky"!

AMBITIOUS!
For those of you who know of and understand Joe's journey here in chiro school, you'll understand why I need to brag a little. Yep...he deserves some bragging. He's earned it! He has been on fire this semester and he surpassed the 100 adjustments mark in the outpatient clinic this week!!! (He only need 30 adjustments by the end of this semester.) I think this is praiseworthy---Accolades are scarce around this school. It's rewarding to know that he is excited about his new profession and that he is ambitious and he is ready to get it started! What a great job he is doing!
Way to go Joe! Keep up the EXCEPTIONAL work! You are the MAN!
