Halloween Festivities

Jake really enjoyed getting to wear his Werewolf costume all day at school!

The girls got to sing and dance together at the Assembly!

It was super fun to hang with friends at the big Halloween Dance after school!

Jake was in the Final Four for the "Scariest" Costume Contest!

We went to the American Royal this year. We attended the Senior Youth Invitational Rodeo finals in Kemper Arena. How fun to see so many youth involved in a cherished American tradition. They all did great!

Ice Skating!

The girls have enjoyed taking ice skating lessons at the Pepsi Midwest Ice Skating Center. Their teacher, Miss Christie, is delightful and has truly made this a fun, learning experience! I'm amazed at the speed and ease at which these girls have learned!

We ladies hit the town---KC Ballet

A few weeks ago, a dear friend shared her tickets with us, and the girls and I were able to attend the KC Ballet! We enjoyed it so much. The first 3 acts were enchanting; we enjoyed each one and could not choose a favorite! Then, we got to see the performance of "Carmen", and the girls could not believe the tragic ending! We even got to watch our favorite ballerina, Caitlin Mack! I wish we could've taken pictures of the performances, but it was memorable nonetheless.
